Cleveland based Web Design

Binary/organic is home to my professional web design portfolio and several of my personal projects. I am a freelance web designer from Elyria, Ohio who is proficient in CSS / XHTML and have a broad knowledge of many popular content management systems.

I have been designing web pages in the greater Cleveland area for 10 years. In addition to my freelance work, I also help set up and maintain small government websites using Joomla’s open source content management system. Services

Web Design

I have been designing web pages for more than 10 years and have kept up with design standards and trends as times change and new technologies emerge. At present, I prefer to code in XHTML and CSS with a strong emphasis on accessibility, standards compliance and browser compatibility. Recent projects can be seen by following the portfolio link above and range from simple corporate brochure pages to database driven small government websites. Hosting

Hosting space is available on my server for as little as $5 per month. Accounts include unlimited emails and databases, a Cpanel backend, weekly backups and more. Give me a call if you need to confirm specific features. All hosting accounts are fully managed at a professional data center in Houston, with weekly backups stored remotely at my office in Elyria.

Content Management

One of the main focuses of my work has been setting up various content management systems for my clients. I largely tend toward open source solutions and can’t stress enough how a good CMS will save you money both during initial development and throughout the life of your site. In addition to cost and stress savings, you simply can’t do many of the things modern websites are meant to do with a traditional static site. Mass Mail

If you’re going to send junk mail, at least don’t waste the paper. We’ve got a partnership with a large mailing service that will let you manage your own mailings, choose from lists of templates, upload your content and more. Prices start around 3 cents a message.

Search Engine Optimization

Is your site online and failing to draw the promised masses? If your head starts spinning when you try to make sense of page rank algorithms, keyword density and conversion rates, shoot me an email with a link to your site. I give optimization advice for free (because your designer should have included it the first time around). What you do with it is up to you.

Miscellaneous

I’ve been doing this a long time. What’s listed above are the areas where I spend most of my time, but I’ve done print layouts, computer repair, systems training, and more. More to the point though, is that if I can’t do it, I can point you to someone you can trust who can. There are three of us working as Cascade Media Services now, and the collective contacts we’ve all made over the years are guaranteed to treat you better than some job posting site 9 times out of 10.
